When the player hits their opponent with a counter hit or during a chain combo, the opponent will be sent flying back significantly farther than usual. A similar animation was used for Lars' Ark Blast, which also has a similar effect on hit. Additionally, both of Heihachi's Rage Arts resemble Ryu's Hadoken from Street Fighter II V in their anime appearance. ![]() The arm movement of Demon Breath bears a resemblance to Ryu's Hadoken from the Street Fighter series, minus the fireball. Interestingly, Ryu can perform a non-fireball version of this move in the Street Fighter Alpha games. This move also appears at the end of The Mishima Saga, where Heihachi uses it as the final blow of his alternate Rage Art against Kazuya's devil form. In Tekken 7, Heihachi uses Demon Breath as the final blow of his Rage Art, charging up before hitting his opponent. By pressing f+2, then immediately pressing 1+2, Heihachi will perform a small spin before executing Demon Breath, known as Demon Shout. Initially, this move would cause a crumple that could be comboed after, but in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the knockdown was changed to a snapback knockdown with no guaranteed follow-up. The effect on hit varies depending on the game.
